About the school

The New Generation School is a free school opening on the borders of Haringey and Enfield in September 2014, with a focus on provision of excellent communication skills, especially English for pupils and ESOL for parents in order to raise achievement and increase employability for all ages. We will aim to provide the highest standards of primary education curriculum that challenges, inspires and combines the cultural heritage of all those involved within the school and the geographical area in which it is based.

We recognise that the majority of our school family will represent the Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish Cypriot communities because of its location, but we are determined to make our school fully inclusive. Our aim is for our young children to be motivated to pursue higher education or professions and good employment.

We believe greatly in parental involvement in the education of their children at home and at school. Accredited courses will be on offer for those parents who wish to become classroom/teacher assistants that give the parents/carers work experience within a safe and familiar environment.
